Hadrian's Walk is the brief term we use for Walkers Walking the Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail.
As with other famous trails, this has all the essential elements - a World Heritage Site, a National Park, a unique cultural identity, a spectacular landscape and an opportunity to switch off from the norm.
Here's a chance to exercise the body and free the mind. You can leave the stresses of everyday life behind as you pass through some of Britain's least-populated countryside. Whether it's to gather your thoughts or 'walk and talk' - the northern frontier of the Roman Empire is as good a place as any to do it.
